DEB (Dialogue Explore Bond) is a volunteer organization registered as an ODV that operates primarily in the context of Politecnico di Torino. Our goal is to promote mental well-being and create a community where cooperation and mutual support are the norm. We do this through our listening service, events, and initiatives aimed at raising awareness about psychological well-being.

What unites all of us volunteers is the desire to create a university community where cooperation and mutual support are the norm. A competitive environment often generates situations of distress or isolation that have no outlet, worsening the experience of those who face them. An organized network of projects and services supporting everyone can reverse this trend.

The service aims to alleviate stress and tension for students at Politecnico di Torino by providing a place where they can vent and speak anonymously. If you've had a rough day, if you finally passed that exam you've been carrying around for years, if you want to talk about something, or even if you just stubbed your toe against the door and need to vent, we're here for you! To talk with us, you can write completely anonymously to the Telegram bot @DialogueExploreBomdBOT or send us an email at [email protected].

You will not be asked for or provided any personal data. You will be answered by a Politecnico student, a member of the DEB association, who has chosen to dedicate their time freely to provide this service. All requests that arrive at the bot are automatically queued and fulfilled in order of arrival, so we recommend that you do not cancel your request if you don't want to lose your priority.

We do not collect personally identifiable data. When you use the Telegram bot, we only save your Telegram ID — not your username or phone number. Requests are given anonymous form for statistical purposes and can be shared with entities like Politecnico di Torino or other non-profit organizations that request them. No data can be traced back to you as a person.

Yes. You will not be asked who you are or if you are enrolled at Politecnico. At the moment we operate primarily in the Politecnico di Torino community, but anyone can contact us.

All DEB members are volunteers. You don't need to be a Politecnico student: we are open to anyone who wants to contribute. If your role is as a listening service volunteer, the indicative commitment is a 2-hour shift per week plus approximately 4 hours of monthly meetings.
