Our Story
DEB's journey began in 2019 with a simple mission: to be there for students.
The Beginning
It was March 3, 2019, when six students stopped to look around them. They saw their peers struggling; between exams, anxieties, and that feeling of not being able to keep up. There was something simple missing: someone who could really connect.
The Foundation
On July 12, 2019, DEB became official. The idea convinced everyone: the university, Telefono Amico, and a professor who believed in the project from the start.
Digital Evolution
The first anonymous listening service via Telegram arrived. The channels changed over time, they adapted; because respecting whoever asks for help means knowing how to listen the way they need to be listened to.
Recognition
DEB was recognized as an ODV (Volunteer Organization) in the regional registry. A milestone that marks the importance of our work and the seriousness of our mission.
The Community
Those six students became ten, then thirty, then seventy. And in all this growth, the most important thing has remained the same: You are not alone.
