Information We Collect

1. Email correspondence

When you write to us at our email address or PEC for the listening service or any other inquiry, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you. We do not share it with third parties.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

2. Infrastructure logs (via Cloudflare)

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes basic HTTP request data — IP address, browser type, requested URL — as a technical necessity to serve pages. We do not separately access, store, or use this data. It is handled entirely by Cloudflare under their own privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacy.

3. Temporary browser storage

When you switch language on the site, your browser temporarily stores your scroll position in sessionStorage. This data never leaves your device and is automatically deleted when you close the tab.

What We Do Not Collect

  • No analytics or website usage tracking
  • No advertising or marketing profiling
  • No newsletter or mailing list
  • The contact and join forms on this website are not yet connected to a backend — no data entered in those forms is transmitted or stored anywhere

This policy will be updated before any form submission feature goes live.

Data Protection

All communication with us via email is handled with strict confidentiality, in particular for the listening service. Access to email is restricted to authorised DEB volunteers only.

Data transmission between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS), enforced by Cloudflare.

Under the GDPR (Regulation EU 2016/679), you have the right to:
